Mrs. D.
Mrs. D, I’m having a problem with ending my essay. It’s so hard! What should I do?
Should I conclude or something else??
Hi Rui Xuan – a conclusion needs to restate your original thesis statement, touch on the 3 points in the body of your essay, and then a summing up sentence that hopefully is memorable / strong. Try tonight, we can edit tomorrow in class.
Mrs. D.
Mrs. D,
Mrs. B said that its not good to use wikipedia because anyone can just post random information that can be somewhat misleading but I can’t find information that meets to what I am looking for. Should I just use wikipedia?
Thank you

Hi Samantha, I agree with Mrs. B. – but if you can’t find anything right now, use the Wikipedia information, and look later to see if you can confirm that information on another more reliable site.
Here’s one site with a little information on modern mosaic art:
http://www.bamm.org.uk/
Look at ‘contemporary mosaics’ and ‘mosaic materials and application’
Little bit here at the American Mosaic Site too.
